This is one of my favorite projects from the summer, an identity for a family beekeeping business in British Columbia. They requested a design that fit their brand vision: simple, modern and a little rugged. This is a diy, family business that not only makes honey, but also the labels, packaging and marketing materials so what they really needed were the building blocks that would enable them to brand their products and materials in a cohesive way. I started with the logo concepts (below) which evolved into the final mark (above).
Then I finished up the project by developing a mini style guide, which includes specifications for accompanying fonts and color palette, and some general useage tips.
