Vintage Type Wedding Invitation Suite

Welcome to the first featured design from my brand new wedding collection! The Vintage Type suite was inspired by the glamour and grit of the golden age. We're talking gilded ballrooms, champagne towers, speakeasies, and craft cocktails. And of course, epic love stories!

The invitation front features a typographic arrangement of artfully mixed fonts, and the back is finished with an elegant monogram.

A special feature I wanted to include as an option with every invitation suite is an illustrated custom wedding map. I just love a great map! They are such a personal way to share your local favorites and important event locations with your guests. The map is conveniently printed on on the back of the details enclosure card.

Another element of all the invitation suites that deserves some attention are the envelope stamps. Envelope printing, address labels, and calligraphy are questions that come up with pretty much every custom wedding project I've worked on. My general approach to wedding stationery is 'anything goes', except when it comes to envelope addressing. Even though it is one of those older, traditional stationery rules, I really do agree that invitation envelopes should be addressed by hand. I could write a whole post on this alone (maybe I will!), but in short, the invitation envelope is the first thing your guests will see when their invitation arrives;  you want it to feel special. Plus, pretty hand-addressed mail is such a rare treat these days.

There are a few options for hand-addressed envelopes, you can hire a calligrapher, do it yourself or request some help from friends and family with nice handwriting. You don't have to have perfect handwriting, that is part of the charm. I created a Deliver stamp to coordinate with each suite, which is the perfect way to dress up the front of your hand-addressed envelope. It fits all three envelope sizes, so you can use it for everything from your save the dates all the way through to your thank you notes.

There is also a coordinating return address stamp for each suite. Like the deliver stamps, it serves multiple purposes - it is strategically sized to fit on the back flaps of your save the dates, invitations, and thank you notes, and it also the front of your rsvp envelopes!

This invitation suite can be ordered online here. I personally work with you to customize each piece so that it illuminates your unique wedding vision. Each suite includes coordinating options for save the dates, invitations, rsvp cards, detail enclosures, illustrated maps, thank you notes, return address stamps, deliver stamps and envelopes. All the designs are full-color flat printed on luxe cotton cover stock with the option to add printed gold or silver metallic foil. Please see the product, resource and shipping pages for full details regarding pricing, product descriptions, customization, turnaround time and other order details.
